Our Story

With a background in Interior Design and passion for Property, Architecture, Antiques, Art and all things design based Iain and Glenn founded Alexander Thomas out of the demand for beautiful hand curated home wares, Stylish European Antiques and stunning original contemporary art all brought together in a fusion of delectable interior styling that was both individual and unique.

We have built up a diverse “little black book” of Artisan makers from across Great Britain and around the world, some wonderful talented artists whose work we are so proud to showcase and represent and therefore offering something truly original and un-matched to our clients. We love how a paired back beautiful Burr walnut commode can sit wonderfully with a striking Abstract piece of original art, a handmade ceramic lamp base and an elegant bespoke silk ikat shade. Combining heritage pieces along with flashes of contemporary styling are truly the Alexander Thomas signature look. Whether a Country House in the Cotswolds and Modern apartment in London, a Converted Barn in Wiltshire or a cosy Cottage in Cornwall every home deserves unique one off pieces to create something very special for the owners to enjoy.

Do call ahead if you are making a specific journey to check if the item is available and on show there. We state in the description for each larger item if it is on show in Froxfield.
